A standard clothing
item for gentlemen and workers alike. Our placket shirts
are a square cut, with sleeve gussets and fold down (or
stand up) collar. Mostly machine sewn with hand
finishing and buttonholes.
We offer plain front shirts in white, solid colors,
reproduction shirting prints, and various homespuns (all
100% cotton). |

Pleated
shirts have been a standard undergarment for gentlemen's
clothing since the early 19th Century and by the time of
the Civil War the ready-made industry was producing
shirts by the millions.
Our
shirts come in three versions. The first is all white, the second has
a printed body and sleeves with white pleats,
collar and cuffs, and the final option is all printed.
All versions have white glass buttons.

Based on an original in our collection, this shirt is all machine sewn
except for the buttonhole and the sleeve cuffs. The
seams are not felled and the hem is cut on the selvage.
The sleeves are three-quarter length.

Overshirts

These shirts
are common working garments found in many photographs,
drawings, and prints. We offer a square cut style with
one welt pocket on the left side. Mostly machine sewn
with hand sewn buttonholes and finishing. We offer these
in red, blue, and grey. |
